Isothiazolinone Biocide
Isothiazolinone biocide (MIT/CIT blend) is a widely used broad-spectrum preservative for water-based coatings, providing effective protection against bacteria, yeasts, and fungi that cause product spoilage and dry-film defects. The active ingredients methylisothiazolinone (MIT) and chloromethylisothiazolinone (CMIT) act synergistically to deliver outstanding in-can preservation at low concentrations. It is suitable for architectural paints, adhesives, and construction chemicals.
