Tannin Rust Inhibitor
Tannin-based rust inhibitor and converter that reacts chemically with iron oxides on rusted steel surfaces, converting them into stable ferric tannate complexes that provide a firm base for subsequent coating layers. Derived from natural plant tannins, it offers an environmentally friendly alternative to phosphoric acid rust converters. It is widely used in maintenance coatings applied directly over lightly rusted steel without complete surface preparation.
