Sodium Percarbonate (Water Treatment / AOP Grade)
Water-treatment grade Sodium Percarbonate (2Na2CO3·3H2O2) is a stable solid source of hydrogen peroxide and alkalinity, engineered for advanced oxidation processes (AOP), in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), pond and lake remediation, and emergency oxygen replenishment in fish farming and wastewater systems. On contact with water it dissociates into Na2CO3 + H2O2, delivering 13-14% active oxygen (27.5% H2O2 equivalent) without the transport hazards of liquid peroxide. Coated grades offer slow-release behavior over 24-72 hours, making it ideal for sediment treatment, dechlorination polishing, and odor control in lift stations. Compared with liquid H2O2, percarbonate is easier to ship, dose, and store at remote treatment sites.

Applications
- Solid H2O2 source for AOP wastewater treatment (UV/H2O2, O3/H2O2, Fenton)
- In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) for soil and groundwater remediation
- Pond and lake restoration - algae control and bottom sediment oxidation
- Emergency oxygen replenishment in aquaculture and stagnant wastewater lagoons
- Odor control and dechlorination polishing in lift stations and sewers
- Soil aeration and remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated sites
Key Features
- Solid H2O2 carrier - ships safer than 35-50% liquid peroxide (UN 3378 vs UN 2014)
- Built-in alkalinity (Na2CO3) buffers acidic Fenton/AOP wastewater, reducing NaOH dosing
- Coated grade enables 24-72 h sustained oxygen release - ideal for sediment and ISCO
- Decomposes cleanly to Na+, CO3²-, H2O, O2 - no toxic by-products or sludge
- Storage stable for 24+ months at <30°C; no refrigerated transport needed
- Drop-in replacement for liquid H2O2 where dosing pumps fail or remote sites lack infrastructure
