Ultramarine Blue Pigment

Synthetic Ultramarine Blue (CI Pigment Blue 29) is a complex sodium aluminosulfosilicate pigment produced by calcining a mixture of kaolin, sodium sulfate, soda ash, sulfur, and reducing agents at high temperature to yield the characteristic reddish-violet to blue chromophore. It offers outstanding lightfastness, heat stability, and non-toxicity, widely used in architectural paints, plastics, printing inks, and laundry products. Chemzip supplies ultramarine blue in standard and fine grades.
