PDMS Silicone Emulsion 30% Active

CAS: 63148-62-9

Aqueous emulsion of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) at 30% active solids. Stabilized with non-ionic emulsifiers; pH 6.0–7.5; particle size D50 ≤ 1.0 μm. The lowest-concentration grade in the PDMS emulsion series — ready to use directly or with minimal dilution in textile finishing baths and personal care formulations. Inherently stable emulsion and smallest particle size of the 30/40/60% series ensures uniform film formation on fiber and skin substrates.

PDMS Silicone Emulsion 40% Active

CAS: 63148-62-9

40% active PDMS aqueous emulsion — the mid-concentration workhorse of the silicone emulsion series. Balances shipping/storage efficiency against handling ease; preferred for industrial textile finishing lines, paper sizing, and rubber mold lubrication where the 30% grade wastes freight and the 60% concentrate requires on-site emulsification equipment. Non-ionic; compatible with most textile and paper auxiliaries across pH 4–10.

silicone emulsions

PDMS Silicone Emulsion 60% Active

CAS: 63148-62-9

High-concentration 60% active PDMS aqueous emulsion for industrial applications. Equivalent to Bluesil EMUL 872, Wacker E60 series (100/350/1000 cSt), and XIAMETER MEM-0349. Designed as a ship-and-dilute concentrate — most economical per-active-kg basis for high-volume users. Ionic type varies by grade: non-ionic (Wacker E60 equivalents) or slightly anionic (Bluesil EMUL 872 equivalent). Base fluid viscosity (350–60,000 cSt) is the critical selection variable alongside ionic type.

Hydrogen-Terminated Silicone Oil (H-PDMS)

CAS: 70900-21-9

Hydrogen-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (H-PDMS) carries reactive Si-H groups exclusively at both chain ends, making it the preferred chain-extender and crosslinker in platinum-catalyzed addition-cure silicone rubber systems. Si-H content (0.03–0.5 wt%) and viscosity (2–1000 cSt) define reactivity: low-viscosity grades (2–10 cSt) act as crosslinkers; higher-viscosity grades (100–1000 cSt) serve as chain extenders and surface-treatment intermediates. Unlike side-chain hydride PDMS (PMHS), the terminal Si-H placement gives controlled network topology and predictable cure kinetics.
