Alkylated Diphenylamine (ADPA) Antioxidant
Alkylated diphenylamine (ADPA) is a high-performance secondary aminic antioxidant produced by alkylating diphenylamine with olefins to improve oil solubility and reduce volatility compared to unalkylated DPA. ADPA provides superior high-temperature oxidation protection and is particularly effective in modern engine oils, aviation turbine oils, and high-temperature industrial lubricants. The C4–C9 alkyl substituents dramatically improve oil compatibility without sacrificing radical-scavenging activity.
