Ethylenediamine Tetramethylene Phosphonic Acid (EDTMPA)
EDTMPA is an organophosphonic acid with four phosphonate groups that provide exceptional chelation of calcium, magnesium, and transition metal ions. It is a powerful scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor for high-hardness industrial water systems. Its strong complexing ability also makes it effective as a metal ion stabilizer in hydrogen peroxide bleaching and textile processing.
