Calcium Petroleum Sulfonate Emulsifier for Metalworking
Calcium petroleum sulfonate emulsifiers are anionic surfactants widely used in soluble oil and semi-synthetic metalworking fluid concentrates to form stable oil-in-water emulsions with tap water of varying hardness. They provide simultaneous emulsification, mild rust inhibition, and lubricity enhancement. The calcium sulfonate structure offers superior emulsion stability versus sodium sulfonates, particularly in hard water conditions common in manufacturing environments.
