2-Amino-4-Chlorophenol
2-Amino-4-chlorophenol is a bifunctional aromatic compound containing both amino and hydroxyl groups, making it an excellent azo dye coupling component as well as a diazotizable intermediate. It is used to produce reactive and direct dyes with red, bordeaux, and brown shades exhibiting good wash fastness on cotton.
