Amino Trimethylene Phosphonic Acid (ATMP)
ATMP is an organophosphonic acid scale and corrosion inhibitor widely used in industrial water treatment programs. It provides excellent threshold inhibition of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and barium sulfate scales through lattice distortion and crystal growth modification. ATMP also chelates heavy metal ions, preventing their precipitation in water systems.
