Sodium Molybdate Corrosion Inhibitor
Sodium molybdate is an environmentally acceptable, non-toxic anodic corrosion inhibitor for steel, aluminum, and other metals in closed-loop cooling and heating water systems. It passivates metal surfaces by forming stable molybdate complexes that impede anodic dissolution. Molybdate is especially favored in non-chromate replacement programs due to its low toxicity and compatibility with diverse system materials.
