API CK-4 Heavy-Duty Diesel Engine Oil Additive Package
API CK-4 heavy-duty diesel engine oil additive packages are complete additive concentrates formulated for heavy-duty diesel engines equipped with advanced exhaust aftertreatment systems (EGR, DPF, SCR). These packages deliver improved oxidation resistance, shear stability, aeration control, and soot-handling dispersancy versus prior CJ-4 chemistry. They are designed for use with Group II and III base oils at 10–16% treat rate and must pass a demanding sequence of industry engine dyno and bench tests.
