Phosphino Carboxylic Acid (PCA)

Phosphino carboxylic acid is a low-molecular-weight copolymer combining phosphino and carboxylic acid functional groups, providing excellent scale inhibition and dispersion in high-hardness, high-temperature, and high-pH cooling water and boiler systems. It demonstrates superior threshold inhibition of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and calcium phosphate compared to conventional polycarboxylates. PCA is a key component in non-phosphonate, environmentally progressive water treatment formulations.
